The ADF is proud to support the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix (0.57 mins)

The Australian Defence Force is proud to again support this year’s Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix held at Albert Park, Melbourne from 14 to 17 March 2019. Air Force will stage a number of high-speed aerial displays showcasing the technical capabilities and precision flying of the F/A-18A/B Hornet. A C-17A Globemaster will conduct an impressive low altitude flypast and Navy will showcase the MH-60R Seahawk "Romeo" and Bell 429 helicopters. The Australian Defence Force exhibit, located in the Innovation and Technology Hub precinct will host a range of additional displays and experiences across the four days including: Air Force’s Drone Racing Team conducting races using mini-drones. Army’s ‘Armygeddon’, a supercharged 7.0-litre monster vehicle. An Air Force Simulator Experience providing an insight into what fighter pilots experience in the air. The 2019 STEM experience will inspire children to build their own rockets. Performances by the Australian Army Band.
